Is Technology Good For Little Kids

The main question that has been on almost every parents mind is whether technology is actually good for their kids. Over the past few years there haven’t been that many studies that have been conducted so as to determine whether technology is good for kids and as a result many parents have been with very little knowledge when it comes to technology and kids and in this article we will be finding out if technology is indeed good for little kids.

According to research, kids who are not exposed to technology at their earlier days tend to have an easier time of understanding how things work technology wise much easier. According to Micheal Rich, M.P.H., M.D., director of the Center on Media and Child Health at the famed Children’s Hospital in Boston, this particular fact is true. Rich, while his kids were still young, did not allow them to actually watch TV or any other screen like media. When he finally agreed to letting his kids use technology, he realized that not only were his kids understanding everything about technology, but they were also doing it at a very high pace. One of his kid’s, Ian, was actually able to know all the features on his iPhone and he even went as far as taking pictures with it something that really amazed.

Based on that, together with other research we can be able to state that, as much as there is no study that has been put forward to prove whether technology is good for kids, at an early age kids should not be introduced to technology as this might interfere with their brain’s growth system.
