A RAM upgrade from 2GB to 3GB with XP really isn’t going to make any difference.

I would try a new graphic card. Preferably one with DDR3.

Your “Intel Pentium E5200 Dual” is a 64bit cpu. It will work on a 64bit OS and software.

    17. orioncheung says:

EM64T = Intel 64bit (as in yes your cpu support 64bit.)

    18. mikealex08 says:

I tried the software and noticed it only says EM64T, does this mean my system was made specifically for 64-bit operating systems? I’m running a Intel Core 2 Quad.

    19. tonybeccar says:

    1. Well, Dell misinformed you! In order to go to the 64 bit Windows 7, you'll have to do a new clean install. It is not possible to upgrade from 32 bit to 64 bit, at all. It depends on how Dell has installed the operating system. Dell customer service are idiots. That's why I don't trust them ... Dell put quite a few applications that were hidden in the BIOS that prevented him from getting the best out of his upgrade. I'd do a little more research first before going forward. ...
