WTF? Xp is 8 years old. Win7 is new, faster, and takes up less space.

    2. christo0 says:

The processor lacks the instruction to run XP optimally. It’s optimized for vista or 7 only.

    3. Shorty15c4007 says:

He said Macbook style b/c who the hell knows that sony was the one who first had it? The majority of today’s consumers know how the macbook keyboard is b/c of how popular it is.

    4. kazzda says:

why put windows 7 when you can put windows xp on it?

    5. wahkao1990 says:

      Automatic Teller Machine.

Not sure what different people call it in different country but it is a machine where you put the card in and key in your PIN and out comes your money.

    6. w3bmatt says:

What do you mean by ATM?
      Whats it stand for?

    7. G1NZOU says:

It’s a good design, you’re less likely to accidentaly hit the wrong key.
      looks stylish too.

    8. wahkao1990 says:

yeah. I remember Sony coming out with the “ATM” like buttons wayyy before mac did.

    9. NAKAKATAKOTAKO says:

      that joystick is jurassic!

Vaio p series are only for fashonistas. Looks good but doesn’t perform good. I’d rather buy a hp mini 2133/2140 or dell minis for same price.

    10. williamkendrick says:

      i konw right?
      smart asses :P

    11. G1NZOU says:

Why does he say it has a macbook style keyboard, Sony started using spaced keys before apple

    12. G1NZOU says:

      That’s because it isn’t a netbook.

    13. bmxbike525 says:

      looks ugly

    14. Moonface00z says:

This netbook sucks…. its slow and it cant stream videos well in youtube and also i rather buy

      Asus 1000 HE
      Hp mini note 2150

    15. Zenithson05 says:

      its running windows 7 =P

    16. seamusinbtown says:

      duse i would get safari…

    17. ug0trickr011ed says:

      id rather buy an iphone

    18. therocket88 says:

yeahyeahyeah. this one is kind of dream

    19. jdcokebitch says:

On the p-series website it says that the base model does most of the things that the top model does except it doesn’t have the 1.6Ghz processor or extended battery, I’m really tempted by this netbook it is brilliant for its size, but its typical sony -just way too expensive!

    20. loldotalol379 says:

They put windows 7 on it.. lol

    21. Masterdurge says:

I kinda can see the use though because most laptops while small aren’t small enough that i can just whip it out use it and done. This could be extremely useful in classes or something for college also. Around the house it could be used for stuff you don’t feel like getting up for iano. It is a bit expensive but i love the size shape and form of the system.

    22. mojojtr says:

shoul i get this or the Gateway M8665 u?
      PLS help me decide!!

    23. SingingFag says:

huge resolution for such a little screen

    24. xpopxeyex says:

so, the base model doesnt have wifi?

    25. Derkaderkaderkderk says:

I really don’t know what market are trying target with this product.

The raison d’etre of netbooks are they’re a cheap way of basic on-the-go computing and internet access. Eight hundred pounds is not cheap.

For the same price as the Sony P-Series, you could have a fully featured ultra-mobile laptop with enough power to run vista effectively.

Considering the current economical climate, I thing Sony are taking a massive risk with this new toy.
