      its reasonably clear,

      yeah, peace!

      SSS,

Wierd huh? — How can manufactuers keep selling “laptops” when putting it on your lap could lead to 3rd degree burns? :)

      DEVAXTATOR,

Yeah… that’s actually what I use the pad for — I’m always working in bed and the sheets and pillows tend to screw up the ventilation. I just really wish it had some sort of tacky surface so my laptop wouldn’t slide off.

      gibor4975,

Thanks for the comment. I appreciate the sentiment!

I use a Sony PD-150 for filming ‘gadget’ — It’s old-school and breaks more often that it works, but we’ll be upgrading to a true HD AVCHD camera in the Fall.
      Peace,
      Fr. Robert

      Cool Video A++++++++++++++++++++++

    10. sheffieldmvp says:

I will look for this to go onsale. I just wouldn’t pay more than $15-20 to cool a laptop when all you have to do is lift it up for awhile.

    11. qiranger says:

      Sounds like a great product.

    12. PersonNinja says:

Same here. This IS my tech stop if I need something.

    13. gadgettts says:

      1am1uglyguy,

It depends on how much heat your laptop is pumping out. With that Dell notebook that you saw in the video, 4 hours after the test started there were still unmelted crystals in the pad.

      Peace,
      Fr. Robert

      EveryDaysAHolleyDay,

Many thanks. It’s enough that you enjoy the show and share a passion for tech! — Now get some sleep! :)

This is something that I need.

My laptop gets so hot. I’ve had to start using a TV Tray to make sure it gets enough air, then I opened up my laptop to find out there was a hand full of dust. I mean, literally a hand full of dust in my four inch fan and even with that removed It still gets over a hundred degrees.

    16. EveryDaysAHolleyDay says:

Apology for the run on sentence, wanted to put a period after professional. It’s really late :/

    17. EveryDaysAHolleyDay says:

Your reviews are always really well done and very professional, It has come to the point where I trust your opinion and can buy products you recommend with confidence, for that I must say thanks and keep up the good work.
