You could if you setup so sort of streaming software on your PC, but if that’s going to be the primary function of the ProStick you might as well get a SlingBox.
can you view your live tv from anywhere you want. Say if u live in like ohio, with this, can you view whats showing live if ur in california on a trip of something?

No it can’t. You can try plugging the video-in to your PCTV-tuner hardware, but it will run only for a few seconds no matter what system you run.
Yes… but depending on the speed of your system you will notice a lag.. it may not be the best device to do so unless you’ve got a killer rig.

What are the specs of your system. The most common reason for poor quality video is a bad cable connection or antennat reception. The second most common reason is an underpowered computer. The third most common reason is a powerful computer that has been bogged down by a number of performance-killing background applications. (i.e. virus scanners, taskbars, background updaters, etc.)

Hey just wondering If I got this could I play my x-box 360 on hd on my tv and have it record it to my pc at the same time or not?
Is there a version I could? Ive been looking for a good capture card so i can atleast play in HD while recording but havent had much luck other than the Hauppauge

Hi I too am from Hawaii and I wanted to know if this will allow me to watch my digital television(time warner cable) without having to use a cable box or if that is even possible. Also when you were using it was your cable coming from a cable box or straight from the wall? please get back to me, im really having trouble finding a tv tuner :[

Yes you can use it to watch Oceanic Digital in Hawaii. (It’s what I’m using right now.) — I plugged it directly from the wall into the device. I didn’t have to go through a cable box.

Unfortunately, no… digital signal or not, you need to use Oceanic’s cable box in order to get all the digital chanels. Otherwise you’ll get the equivilant of basic cable. (Still about 70 channels.)
